*UPDATE* Paving Project to Require Overnight Closure of Portions of Wisconsin Avenue (MD 355) and Montgomery Avenue September 14-15; Expect Detour to Jones Bridge Road

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, September 9, 2020

Beginning 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, to 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, M.T. Laney Company, Inc. will close two northbound and southbound lanes of Wisconsin Avenue (MD 355) at Montgomery Avenue/Old Georgetown Road for paving. During this time Montgomery Avenue will be closed to thru traffic and one detour route will guide drivers to Jones Bridge Road.  A flagging operation and signage will direct motorists and pedestrians through this work zone.

Drivers should always stay alert and look for reduced speed limits in efforts to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for construction crews and drivers.
