Montgomery County Issues Request for Development Proposals for Bethesda Public Parking Lots

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, November 10, 2020

Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has issued a Request for Development Proposals as it seeks creative, viable proposals from qualified teams for a development project at Public Parking Lots No. 25 and 44 in the Bethesda Parking Lot District.

Public Parking Lot No. 25 is located in the eastern quadrant of the intersection of Highland Avenue and Tillbury Street in Bethesda and is approximately 60,000 square feet in area. Public Parking Lot No 44 is located in the southern quadrant of the intersection of West Virginia Avenue and Tillbury Street in Bethesda and is approximately 17,500 square feet in area. Development proposals may be submitted for one or both development sites.

Responses are due by 3 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2021. A pre-submission meeting will be hosted by MCDOT at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23. The deadline for questions is 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4.
