On Wednesday, January 13 starting at 7 p.m., the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold a virtual public hearing about the following proposed construction of sidewalks in Bethesda:
The proposed sidewalks will enhance safety for those with disabilities, pedestrians and bicyclists as they travel to schools and nearby facilities. Public input will influence whether MCDOT constructs all or a portion of the sidewalks.
The hearing will be broadcast live online at montgomerycounty.adobeconnect.com/kenhowedrsidewalks. Prior to the virtual meeting, the public is encouraged to review the below project documents. Written comments or questions may be submitted to MCDOT’s Annual Sidewalk Program by email to dte.sidewalk@montgomerycountymd.gov or lori.main@montgomerycountymd.gov. Written testimony carries the same weight as oral testimony.
