Montgomery County Public Libraries to Offer Conflict Resolution Programs

Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) in partnership with the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County, is offering the Peace by Peace Series, which is four workshops that explore what conflict means, and how and why individuals react in different ways to conflict. The programs offer tips and techniques on how to develop productive methods to communicate with a partner, friend, family member, acquaintance or co-worker. Workshops are geared toward specific situations and age groups.  

“During these stressful times, communication can be challenging,” said MCPL Director Anita Vassallo. “MCPL is so delighted to be able to offer these timely workshops offering residents helpful techniques to effectively engage in conversations with individuals with opposing views while maintaining positive relationships.”
