Free MCDOT Webinar for Employers on Teleworking on Thursday, Feb. 11, Will Focus on Lessons Learned During COVID-19 and Look Ahead to Future Trends and Solutions for Telework

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, February 9, 2021

Join the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Commuter Services on Thursday, February 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. for an informative and free webinar for employers on teleworking. Information will focus on lessons learned and trends that organizations and employees are realizing as a result of working from home during COVID-19.

Discussion will include employees’ views about returning to a physical workplace, desired amounts of teleworking going forward, need for resources and assistance, as well as tips to combat work-from-home and videoconferencing fatigue. The session will also address employers’ reactions to working from home, dealing with employee wellness and mental health, and employee engagement.

Thursday’s session will feature Elham Shirazi, telework expert with over 30 years’ experience.

The webinar will also include an overview of Montgomery County's FareShare transit subsidy program.
