Weather Conditions Force Cancellation of Vaccine Appointments/Testing Sites Thursday, Feb. 18

Montgomery County-run COVID-19 vaccination clinics scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18 are cancelled due to forecasted snow and dangerous road conditions. The clinic scheduled for Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville will be moved to Saturday, Feb. 20 at the same location. The Quince Orchard High School clinic will be moved to Sunday, Feb. 21. Appointment holders for tomorrow’s clinics will be automatically rescheduled for the same time for the Saturday/Sunday clinics. Residents with appointments have been notified by the State’s PrepMod appointment system about the cancellation of tomorrow’s clinics. Those with appointments will receive an additional email from c19vaccination@montgomerycountymd.gov with more specific information. Residents with scheduled appointments include those in Priority Group 1A and residents in Priority Group 1B, Tier 1 (residents 75 and older).

County-run COVID-19 testing clinics scheduled for Feb. 18 are also cancelled and residents with appointments are being notified to reschedule at their convenience. More information on COVID-19 testing clinics and instructions on making an appointment for testing is at www.MoCoCOVIDtesting.org.

The County is currently vaccinating residents in Priority Group 1A and 1B, Tier 1 (residents 75 and older). All invitations to make an appointment at County vaccination clinics come directly from c19vaccination@montgomerycountymd.gov.  More information on vaccinations is on the County’s vaccine website. Preregistration is open for all residents in Priority Group 1B and 1C. A detailed description of the priority groups is also on the vaccine website.
