Montgomery County Government to Return to Open Status Feb. 19

For Immediate Release: Friday, February 19, 2021

Montgomery County Government and its facilities will return to OPEN status on Friday, Feb. 19. 

Montgomery County Recreation aquatic facilities will open at 8 a.m. on Feb. 19. 

The following is a revised Recycling and Refuse Collection Schedule for the Week of Feb. 15 due to the Winter Storm:

• If your regular collection day is Wednesday, your rescheduled collection day will be Friday.
  
  
• If your regular collection day is Thursday, your rescheduled collection day will be Friday.
  
  
• If your regular collection day is Friday, your rescheduled collection day will be Saturday.*

*If your recycling is not collected on Saturday, please set out the material on your next regularly scheduled collection day.

Yard trim collection is cancelled for residents whose regular collection day is Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Material should be set out on one’s next regularly scheduled collection day.
