MCDOT Offers Free Parking to Individuals With Vaccination Appointments in Silver Spring
For Immediate Release: Friday, April 30, 2021
For those getting vaccinated for COVID-19 at the Silver Spring Civic Building, the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) provides free parking at Town Square Parking Garage 61, located at 801 Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring.
Vaccinations are by appointment only. Walk-ins are not allowed. Residents with a confirmed vaccination appointment will receive a confirmation email with directions and other details.
To receive a free parking validation ticket, drivers are asked to bring their parking entry ticket (retrieved at entry to the garage) to the vaccination appointment, where it will be validated. The entry and validation tickets can then be used at any pay station within the garage or when exiting.
