Council President Hucker and Vice President Albornoz hold media availability May 10 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the FY22 Operating Budget and vaccine updates

Discussion will also cover upcoming meeting with Prince George’s County Council

Rockville, Md., May 7, 2021—On Monday, May 10 at 11:30 a.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to provide an update on the FY22 Operating Budget and the County’s vaccine registration system.

The duo will briefly discuss the upcoming meeting with the Prince George’s County Council regarding the bi-county budgets.

They will also discuss the Council’s recent vote to approve funding for the Pandemic Prevention and Biodefense Center in the County and provide an update on the new Ride On schedule and fares.

Montgomery County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Raymond Crowel will join the media availability to provide a public health update and information on vaccination efforts.

The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.

The public can watch on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).
