Rockville, Md., May 14, 2021—On Monday, May 17 at 11:30 a.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to provide an update on the FY22 Operating Budget and will be joined by Councilmember Jawando to discuss the introduction of new policing bills in the County.
Council President Hucker and Council Vice President Albornoz will also discuss the County’s vaccination roll-out for 12 to 15 year-olds, the County’s latest public health guidelines on reopening procedures and the new recommended preferred alternative for the I-270/I-495 widening project.
Montgomery County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Raymond Crowel will join the media availability to provide a public health update and information on vaccination efforts.
The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.
