Rockville, Md., May 21, 2021—On Monday, May 24 at 11 a.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to provide an overview of the Council’s deliberations last week and the preliminary agreement to the Fiscal Year 2022 Operating Budget.
The duo will also provide updates on COVID-19 vaccination efforts for residents, including those for minors between the ages of 12 to 15, and discuss the County’s third phase of reopening expected to begin on Friday, May 28.
Montgomery County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Raymond Crowel will join the media availability to provide a public health update and information on vaccination efforts.
The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.
