MCDOT Announces Labor Day Holiday Schedule for Monday, Sept. 6

For Immediate Release: Thursday, September 2, 2021

Below are Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s (MCDOT) and partners’ transportation-related schedule changes for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 6: 

• MCDOT and County Offices – Closed 
• Ride On and Flash bus service – Operating on a Sunday schedule.  For more information visit montgomerycountymd.gov/DOT-Transit/essential-plan.html
• Ride On Flex on demand bus service - In service
• Ride On extRa bus service - Not in service
• Metrorail and Metrobus – Information available here 
• MARC Train and Commuter Bus - Information available here
• TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center – Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  
• TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store - Closed  
• Parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton Public Garages, Lots and Curbside Meters - Free 
• Shared Streets Program: Will run through at least Sept.28, 2021. For more information visit, montgomerycountymd.gov/dot/sharedstreets
