For Immediate Release: Thursday, November 4, 2021

Below are Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s (MCDOT) and partners’ transportation-related schedule changes for the Veterans Day Holiday, Thursday, Nov. 11:

MCDOT, County, State and Court Offices – Closed.
Ride On and Ride On extRa Bus Service – Operates on a modified Holiday Schedule.
Flash Rapid Bus Service – Orange Line - Operates on weekend service. Blue Line - Not in operation.
Ride On Flex on Demand Bus Service in Glenmont/Wheaton and Rockville – Normal operation.
Metrorail and Metrobus – Metrorail will open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight. Metrobus will operate on a Saturday schedule. Off-peak fares will be in effect and parking will be free at all Metro-owned garages and lots. Learn more here.
MTA Local Bus and Light Rail – Normal weekday schedule.
Marc Train – Operates on the enhanced R schedule.
MTA Commuter Bus – Not in operation. Route 201 Gaithersburg – BWI Business District operates on a weekend oliday schedule.
MTA Transit Store – Closed.
TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center – Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store – Closed.
Parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton Public Garages, Lots and Curbside Meters - Free.
