Virtual Public Forum on Proposed Ride On Bus Route 4 Service Changes to be Held on Tuesday, Dec. 7

For Immediate Release: Friday, November 19, 2021

On Tuesday, Dec. 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will host an online public forum on the proposed extension of Ride On bus Route 4. With the change, the current route from the Kensington Marc train station to University Blvd. and Veirs Mill Road would be extended to the Wheaton Metrorail Station providing a direct connection from the Kensington MARC Station to the Wheaton Urban District. 

Additional information on the proposed change can be found on the Ride On website at rideonbus.com.

Individuals and representatives of organizations who would like to speak at the forum are requested to furnish in writing, or by email, on or before Saturday, Dec. 4, their name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address and organization to the Division of Transit Services, Ride On Public Forum, 101 Monroe Street, 5th Floor, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The information can be sent by email to mcdot.rideonpublicforums@montgomerycountymd.gov.

In addition, comments may be written, faxed, or e-mailed on the proposed service changes to the Division of Transit Services by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14.
