Council President Hucker and Vice President Albornoz to Hold Media Availability on Dec. 6 at 11:30 a.m.

Councilmembers will discuss legislative matters and the Council’s upcoming election for new Council officers for the next one-year term 

Rockville, Md., Dec. 3, 2021—On Monday, Dec. 6 at 11:30 a.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to discuss legislative matters and the Council’s election of its new Council officers for the next one-year term during Tuesday’s Council meeting. 

Council President Hucker and Council Vice President Albornoz will reflect on the Council’s work over the past year. They will also discuss the highlights of some of the Council’s latest initiatives with County residents, businesses and organizations, including the recent Economic Development Briefing, Thrive Montgomery 2050 Listening Session and Climate Change Town Hall. 

Montgomery County Health and Human Services Public Health Emergency Preparedness Manager Sean O’Donnell will join the media availability to provide a public health update. 

The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.

The public can watch on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).
