Montgomery County Government Will Remain Open Jan. 3; COVID-19 Testing and Vaccinations at Most County-Operated Facilities to Continue

For Immediate Release: Monday, January 3, 2022

Montgomery County Government offices and departments will remain OPEN Monday, Jan. 3, according to their normal operating schedules. Though COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts will continue at County-operated facilities for persons with scheduled appointments, there is limited capacity for waiting indoors. Attendees should plan and dress accordingly. Persons with existing appointments will be accommodated as they arrive throughout the day. Walkups will not be available. Appointments at Montgomery College Rockville were cancelled due to staffing. 

Montgomery County Recreation’s programming schedule has been modified. All regularly scheduled programs & activities are canceled. Pools will open at 8:30 a.m. Community centers will be open for drop-in activities. Senior centers are closed. Call before leaving home as staff may be delayed opening facilities due to road conditions.
