Montgomery County Government Facilities Will Open at 10 a.m. On Jan. 7

For Immediate Release: Friday, January 7, 2022

Montgomery County Government facilities will open Friday, Jan. 7, at 10 a.m. Though COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts will continue at County-operated facilities for persons with scheduled appointments, there is limited capacity for waiting indoors. Attendees should plan and dress accordingly. Persons with existing appointments will be accommodated as they arrive throughout the day. Walkups will not be available.

Montgomery County Recreation’s programming schedule has been modified. All regularly scheduled programs and activities are cancelled. Pools and community recreation centers will open at 10 a.m. for drop-in activities. Senior centers are closed. Call before leaving home as staff may be delayed getting in to open facilities due to road conditions.  

Montgomery County's Department of Environmental Protection's (DEP) trash and recycling schedule has been modified. Due to road conditions, County-provided trash and recycling collections may be delayed. DEP will open the Transfer Station at 10 a.m. Please visit the DEP website for the latest updates.
