Online Registration for 10th Annual Montgomery County Energy Summit Will Close on Friday, March 24

Online registration for the 10th Annual Montgomery County Energy Summit will close on Friday, March 24. Onsite, day-of registration for the event, which will be held March 28-29 at the Silver Spring Civic Building, will be extremely limited and individuals are encouraged to pre-register.

The summit will be hosted by the County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The cost to attend the Energy Summit is $15 per day. Online registration is available at https://www.mcenergysummit.org/.

The Silver Spring Civic Building is located at 1 Veterans Pl. in Downtown Silver Spring.

The 2023 Energy Summit will focus on preparing the commercial building community for compliance with energy benchmarking, building energy performance standards and emerging building codes. It will explore requirements and opportunities in these areas and provide hands-on learning opportunities, as well as case studies from commercial and multifamily buildings.

The summit will have keynote speakers, educational sessions, hands-on building audit demonstrations, panel discussions, networking opportunities and the opportunity for building owners to receive direct onsite technical support for new requirements.

Both days of the summit will feature an Innovation Alley with more than 15 exhibitors displaying innovative products services available to the commercial and multifamily business sectors. The displays have information on products and programs that could aid in building efficiency, renewable energy, electrification, building decarbonization, healthy buildings and zero-emission vehicles.
