Register Now for Montgomery County Recreation’s 55+ BBQ Bonanza

Summer is right around the corner and to help kick things off, Montgomery County Recreation is hosting its second annual 55+ BBQ Bonanza on Friday, June 23 at Smokey Glen Farm in Gaithersburg. From 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for just $5, County residents 55 and older can join their friends for a fun-filled day of great food and fun activities, including games, crafts, line dancing and more! 

Registration is now open. Participants can sign up either online or in-person at one of Recreation’s senior centers.  

Transportation will be provided from the senior centers. When registering, participants should designate whether they need transportation and from which center.  

Lunch is included with vegetarian options available, and the event will happen rain or shine! The Smokey Glen Farm location is fully accessible, but space is limited so early registration is highly recommended and encouraged.
