Transportation Schedule for the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, Sept. 4

For Immediate Release: Thursday, August 31, 2023

Below is the transportation-related holiday schedule for the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, Sept. 4:

• MCDOT and MC311 offices - Will be closed.
• Ride On bus - Will operate on a Sunday schedule.  View route schedules here.
• Ride On Flex and extRa bus - Will not be in service.
• Ride On Flash bus - The Orange route will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule. The Blue route (typically, weekday only) will not be in service.
• TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center - Will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  
• TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store - Will be closed.  
• Parking at Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton public garages, lots and curbside meters - Will be free.
• MTA Commuter bus - Will not be in service except for Commuter bus #201, which will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule.
  
• Metrorail and Metrobus - Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule from 7 a.m. to midnight.  Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule. View both schedules here. For more information visit wmata.com/about/news/Labor-Day-service-2023.cfm.
• MetroAccess - Subscription trips will be canceled. Customers may make a reservation to travel.
• MARC train - Will not be in service. For more information visit mta.maryland.gov/service-for-labor-day.
