Temporary Bus Stop Relocation on Rockville Pike to Impact Ride On Routes 46 and 101

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 6, 2024

Beginning Friday, March 8, until Friday, April 12, the bus stop at Rockville Pike and Halpine Road will be relocated further down on Rockville Pike, past Halpine Road, to facilitate the demolition and rebuilding of a new mixed-use path along Rockville Pike. Signs will be posted directing riders to the relocated stop. The bus stop relocation impacts Ride On routes 46 and 101.

Ride On bus fare is only $1 and monthly passes are $22.50 using SmarTrip, cash, or tokens. Seniors age 65 or older,  persons with disabilities and youth ages 18 and under all ride free using specialized SmarTrip cards.

The Ride On Trip Planner app is a free regional public transportation planner that will find your fastest route.
