Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, County Council President Andrew Friedson, County Councilmembers and community nonprofit organizations will be among those participating in a memorial to 61 homeless individuals who died in 2023 and 2024. The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, in the plaza adjacent to the Executive Office Building in Rockville.

The Executive Office Building is located at 101 Monroe Street, Rockville.

In the 2024 Point-in-Time survey published by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, there were 1,104 individuals experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County on the night the count took place.
