MCPD Investigates Serious Personal Injury Collision in Germantown

For Immediate Release: Sunday, June 24, 2012

Today, June 24, 2012,  at approximately 4:17 p.m.,  Montgomery County Police received a call for a serious personal injury collision  near the entrance to the Milestone Shopping Center at 21000 Frederick Road in Germantown.  The crash involved a van and a motorcycle.  Adult male drivers of both vehicles were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Any updates will be provided either later tonight or more likely tomorrow morning.  The release of the names of those involved is not expected until tomorrow.

Frederick Road was closed after the crash between Henderson Corner and the 21000 block, for the crash investigation.  Both entrances to the Milestone Shopping Center on Frederick Road near the crash location are also closed.  The closures are expected to remain in effect until possibly midnight tonight.
