More Information about Serious Personal Injury Collision Turned Fatal

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate the serious one-car personal injury collision that occurred at 5:16 p.m. on June 30, 2012 on northbound Route 29 at Route 198.

The victim, Glenn Clarence Mills II, age 56, from the 6100 block of Windham Road in Laurel, did not survive the major injuries he received and was pronounced deceased at Laurel Regional  Hospital later in the evening on Saturday, June 30.

The investigation revealed that Mr. Mills was traveling northbound on Route 29 just north of Route 198 when for unknown reasons, he veered to the right and his vehicle left the roadway.  It traveled into a ravine and came to rest over a small creek.

This crash was unrelated to any storm damage or power outage.
