Concern for Missing Wheaton Woman

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking for assistance from the public to locate a missing 19-year-old woman.

Alexis Alston, of the 2600 block of Blueridge Avenue in Wheaton, was last seen at her residence at approximately 10:10 a.m. today.  She is believed to be on foot, but is familiar with public transportation.  Alexis Alston likes to visit shopping centers in Wheaton and Silver Spring.

Ms. Alston is described as an African-American female, 5’4” tall, and weighing 120 pounds. She is “non-verbal”, suffers from several medical conditions and walks with a limp.  She was last seen wearing a black top and black sweatpants.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare because Ms. Alston also has a diminished mental capacity.

Anyone with information regarding Ms. Alston’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
