Rape Reported in Green Farm Conservation Park

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division - Homicide Sex Section continue to investigate the report of a rape at the Green Farm Conservation Park, located at 8711 Snouffer School Road in Gaithersburg.

Yesterday evening at approximately 5:05 p.m., police were called to the area of the Green Farm Conservation Park for the report of a rape.

A 21-year-old female reported that she was at a lake (to the rear of the Hadley Farms community pool) in the Green Farm Conservation Park when she was attacked by an unknown male.  The suspect was armed with a knife and sexually assaulted her.  The suspect was last seen leaving the park on foot in the direction of Brenish Drive.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'05" to 5'07" tall, weighing 130 to 150 pounds, wearing a black knit cap and blue jeans.
