Missing Glenmont Man Sought

For Immediate Release: Thursday, August 16, 2012

Detectives from the 4th District are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 71-year-old man.

On Wednesday, August 15 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Rafael Ramos left his son's apartment in the 2200 block of Glenallan Avenue in the Glenmont area.  Ramos is without his medication and suffers from dementia and diabetes.  Ramos is described as 5' 11" tall and weighs 150 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, brown pants, and sandals.  Ramos is known to frequent the Glenmont Metro Station and the Glenmont Shopping Center, specifically the Shoppers Food Warehouse.

Anyone who comes into contact with Ramos is asked to call police immediately.  Anyone with information regarding Ramos' whereabouts is asked to contact the 4th District Investigative Section at 240.773.5530.
