Police are seeking information from the public regarding an incident involving a stranger and two high school female students that occurred yesterday evening in Germantown.

On August 27, at approximately 5:00 p.m., two female Seneca Valley High School students were returning to the school for cheerleading practice.  As they were walking in the area of Crystal Rock Drive and Middlebrook Road, the two girls were approached by a black male driving a white sedan with dark tinted windows.  The driver attempted to strike up a conversation with the girls.  The girls ignored the suspect and continued toward Seneca Valley High School.  The suspect followed the girls to the school where the girls hid in the parking lot.  The suspect then left the area of the school, and the girls attended their practice.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., the girls returned home, and their parents notified the police department of this incident.

Police are asking for anyone that may have been in this area or may have witnessed this incident or the suspect or vehicle involved to contact the 5th District station at 240-773-6200.
