Detectives Investigate Shooting in Montgomery Village

Detectives of the 5th /6th District are investigating a shooting that occurred in Montgomery Village.  Yesterday evening at approximately 10:03 p.m., 911 received a call for shots fired in the area of Montgomery Village Avenue and Clubhouse Road.  911 then received a second call from a complainant stating that a family member had called her and stated that he had been shot.

6th District officers responded to the area and located the victim in the area of the Montgomery Village Shopping Center (19100 block of Montgomery Village Avenue).  The 25-year-old victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Fire/Rescue responded and transported the victim by ambulance to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.  Due to the victim's injuries, the victim has been unable to provide detailed information about the incident.

At this time detectives believe the shooting occurred in the area of Montgomery Village Avenue and Centerway Road.
