Police Investigate Injured Child

For Immediate Release: Thursday, October 11, 2012

Today, at approximately 3:15 p.m., Montgomery County Police and Fire/Rescue responded to the 8800 block of Piney Branch Road for a report of an injured child.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 4-year-old male fell from a 9^th floor apartment window to the ground below.  The child was transported to Children’s Hospital in serious condition.

Detectives from the Family Crimes Division and Child Protective Services are investigating the circumstances surrounding this event.
