For Immediate Release: Tuesday, October 30, 2012

On Saturday, October 27th, Montgomery County Police employees participated in the Montgomery County Community Service Day.  Commander Luther Reynolds, Captain Darryl McSwain, Lieutenant Sonia Pruitt, Officer Christopher Bohrer, and Public Information Officer Lucille Baur were joined by family and friends.   In conjunction with the Peerless Rockville Historic Preservation group, members worked at the Baptist Cemetery located at 115 W. Jefferson Street and at the Haiti Cemetery at 205 Martin’s Lane in Rockville.  Utilizing cutting tools, rakes, and an electric blower, members removed trash, pulled weeds, bagged leaves, and cut up a dead tree.  A good time was had by all in this worthy cause.
