Montgomery County Police Explorers to Host Food Drive to Assist Hurricane Sandy Victims

On Saturday, November 10th, the Montgomery County Police Explorers Post 1986 will be conducting a food drive to assist victims of Hurricane Sandy.  The food drive will be held at the Giant Food store located at 1280 East West Highway in Silver Spring.  Explorers will be collecting non-perishable food items (canned foods, rice, pasta, etc.) at each entrance of Giant between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  The donated items will then be delivered to the Looney's Pub Maple Lawn location in Fulton, MD.  Looney's Pub will have the items transported to New Jersey in aid of Hurricane Sandy victims.  The Explorers and Hurricane Sandy victims are appreciative of any donations that you are able to make tomorrow at Giant.
