Firearm Discharged in Silver Spring McDonald's - Detectives Release Video of Suspect

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section continue to investigate a firearm discharge that occurred on November 14 at a McDonald's in Silver Spring.  Today, detectives are releasing video of the suspect and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

On November 14 at approximately 9:37 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the McDonald's located at 8507 Colesville Road in Silver Spring for the report of a shooting that had just occurred.  Investigation has revealed that the suspect entered the McDonald's and asked for access to the locked bathroom.  An employee pressed a button to grant the customer access to the bathroom and a single gunshot was heard from the bathroom.  The suspect then exited the McDonald's.  Officers at the scene observed a bullet hole in the men's restroom and a bullet fragment was located on the bathroom floor.  No gun was located.

The suspect is described as a black male, with a thin build, balding, and wearing glasses.  The suspect was wearing a gray jacket, dark pants, and dark boots.
