Police Search for Critically Missing Juvenile from Wheaton

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a critically missing juvenile male from Wheaton.

Charles Im, age 15, of the 4000 block of Colie Drive in Wheaton was last seen leaving his residence on November 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m. 

Im is described as an Asian male with a fair complexion, 5’11’’ tall, and weighing approximately 180 pounds.  He has brown eyes, shoulder-length black hair, and a mole above his right eye.  He was last seen wearing a black parka coat with a large gray cross on the back, a black wool hat with gray stripes, a red long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and black New Balance sneakers. He is known to travel to the Korean Corner, also known as the Stoneymill Shopping Center, in Wheaton and the Glenmont Shopping Center. Im attends school in Laurel, MD.

Police and family are concerned for Im's mental health and welfare as he suffers from autism and functions at a low level for his age.  He has not been seen or heard from since his disappearance.
