Update: Vehicle Related Death in Gaithersburg Investigated as a Homicide

It was previously reported that the surviving victim of the hit-and-run pedestrian collision in Gaithersburg was 54 years of age.  Earlier this evening, detectives determined that the surviving victim is currently 34 years of age, but will turn 35 before the end of the year.  His brother, also age 34, died of his injuries after the collision.  Detectives are investigating the collision as a homicide.
