Detectives Seek Assistance in Identifying CVS Robbery Suspect

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division - Robbery Section have been investigating the robbery of a CVS store that occurred on November 27.  Today, detectives are releasing a surveillance photo of the suspect and asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect.

On November 27, at approximately 8:08 p.m., 6th District officers and Gaithersburg Police officers responded to the CVS located at 546 N. Frederick Avenue for a report of an armed robbery.  Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the CVS store and approached the pharmacy counter.  The suspect handed a note to the pharmacist demanding Oxycodone pills.  When the pharmacist hesitated in getting the pills, the suspect fled from the store without obtaining any property.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 20-30 years of age, 6'1"-6'5" tall, and weighing 160-180 pounds.  He was wearing blue jeans, a blue, beige, and white colored jacket with a hood, and a wool winter hat.
