Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man

For Immediate Release: Friday, December 7, 2012

Detectives from the 3rd District are asking for the public's assistance in locating a critical missing man.  Jorgen Roswell Jorgensen, age 79, of the 1500 block of Woodman Avenue in Silver Spring was last seen this evening at approximately 7:45 p.m. by his wife at their residence.   Mr. Jorgensen is described as a white male, 5'11" tall, weighing approximately 180 lbs. with white hair.  He was last seen wearing a cream colored wool hat, a cream colored button down shirt and blue jeans.  He left his residence in a maroon Toyota Previa mini-van with Maryland tag, 7AJ2051.

Mr. Jorgensen suffers from depression and police and his family are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone who sees Mr. Jorgensen, his vehicle, or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
