Suspicious Briggs Chaney Death Investigated as Homicide

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division-Homicide/Sex Section are investigating a suspicious death in the Briggs Chaney area of the county.  Detectives are investigating this death as a homicide.

On Monday, December 10, at approximately 9:56 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the area of 13920 Castle Boulevard for the sound of shots that had just occurred.  When officers arrived a few minutes later, they located a deceased male on a paved path to the rear of the Castle Boulevard address.  The male subject had trauma to his body.

The identity and age of the victim cannot be confirmed at this time but will be released after next-of-kin is notified.  The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy in Baltimore to determine the cause of death.
