MCP and Target to Host Heroes & Helpers Event

• What:  MCP and Target will host a Heroes & Helpers event to help children from Veirs Mill Elementary School purchase holiday gifts for their families.

• When:  Saturday, December 22, 10:00 a.m.

• Where:  Target of Wheaton, 11160 Veirs Mill Road

MCP has teamed up with Target of Wheaton for the Heros & Helpers shopping event to be held on Saturday.  The Heroes & Helpers program helps to foster strong community relationships by pairing public safety officials with in-need youth to shop for the children's families during the holidays.  During the event, MCP police officers and Police Explorers will be paired with a child as they shop for holiday gifts for their families.  The gifts will be purchased with gift cards donated by Target through the Heroes & Helpers program.
