Missing Woman from Bethesda Sought

For Immediate Release: Monday, December 24, 2012

Detectives from the 1st District are asking the public for assistance in locating an 84-year-old woman.

Frances Granger Kress of the 8100 block of Cindy Lane in Bethesda was last seen earlier today at her residence. She left driving a light blue 2005 Jaguar bearing Maryland tags 1DPF74. She was wearing a dark purple sweatsuit and a white coat. Ms. Kress is described as 5' 6" - 5' 7" tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. She has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and also suffers from Dementia.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who sees her or knows her whereabouts to call police immediately.
