Detectives Seek Help to Identify Bethesda Burglary Suspect

Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on December 8, 2012, in Bethesda. They now have photographs of the suspect to release.

On December 8, 2012 at approximately 1:30 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the 10200 block of Hatherleigh Drive in Bethesda for the report of a burglary that had just occurred.

The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect made entry through an unlocked basement window and stole small electronics, currency, documents, jewelry, gift cards, and credit cards.

Further investigation revealed that the victim’s stolen ATM card was used in Prince George’s County and detectives were able to obtain photographs of the male suspect as he attempted to withdraw cash.
