Update: Suspect Vehicle Information in Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run Collision

Detectives from the Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate the fatal pedestrian hit and run collision that occurred on February 26 in Wheaton.

Based on vehicle evidence left at the scene, detectives have developed a description of the suspect vehicle.  The suspect vehicle is described as a late 1990's to early 2000's Toyota Corolla with an unknown color.  Damage should be to the right front corner of the vehicle to include (but not limited to) the headlight assembly.

Investigators continue to ask for information from the public regarding this collision.  Anyone who witnessed the collision, anyone who saw something suspicious in the area around the time of the collision, or anyone who has information about the suspect vehicle (location, repairs made, etc.) is asked to call police at 301-279-8000.
