Concern for Rockville Woman

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking the public for help in locating a Rockville woman.

Tonya Simms who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and a heart ailment, left her group home on Chadwick Lane yesterday, 3/12 at approximately 9:30 a.m.  She boarded a Metro bus and was supposed to travel to another group home in the Kemp Mill area but never arrived.  Due to her medical conditions, police are concerned for her welfare.

Tonya Simms is 53 years old and is described as an African-American woman who stands approximately 5' 4" tall.  She weighs between 100 and 130 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a gray fitted cap, a black and white scarf, a brown coat with a fur collar, a multi-colored sweater, and a blue button-down shirt.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tonya Simms is asked to contact police.
