Concern for Missing Silver Spring Teenagers

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division are asking the public for help in locating two missing teenagers.

Diamond Marie Thaggard, age 17, of the 500 block of Northwest Drive in Silver Spring, and Ashley Hunter, age 17, of the 300 block of Crosswood Court in Silver Spring were last seen on March 8.

Diamond is described as a black female with brown eyes and brown hair in twists.  She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds.  She has a tattoo of her date of birth on her left hand and wears glasses.

Ashley is described as black female with brown eyes and black curly hair.   She has piercings in her nose, eyebrow, and navel.  Ashley was last seen wearing a black jacket and red and white sneakers.

They are known to frequent the Silver Spring and Gaithersburg areas.

Police and family are concerned because Diamond and Ashley have not contacted family members since they left home.
