Suspect Arrested for Burglary on Tralee Terrace

Officers from the 5th District have arrested a suspect responsible for a burglary that occurred on Tralee Terrace in Damascus on March 24.

On March 24, at approximately 7:01 p.m., officers responded to the 10500 block of Tralee Terrace for a report of a suspicious situation.  Neighbors informed police dispatch that a male subject had gained access to an apartment through a back window and had removed a TV from the apartment.  A suspect description was provided to officers.

Officers arrived on-scene and located a male subject matching the description of the suspect.  Officers detained the subject, and further investigation lead to the discovery of evidence linking the detained subject to the burglary.  The suspect was placed under arrest.  Following his arrest, the suspect lead officers to where he had hidden the TV that had been stolen from the apartment.

The suspect has been identified as Jesse Fleming, age 33, of the 24200 block of Preakness Drive in Damascus.  Fleming was charged with first degree burglary and theft under $1,000.  Fleming was released on bond on March 26.
