Media Advisory: MCP Active Shooter Training Exercise

For Immediate Release: Monday, April 1, 2013

• What:  Montgomery County Police active shooter training exercise

• When:  Tuesday, April 2, 9:30 a.m.

• Where:  Julius West Middle School, 651 Great Falls Road, Rockville, MD

Montgomery County police officers and the staff of Julius West Middle School will participate in a training exercise.  The scenario will involve a possible active shooter in a school setting.

Members of the media are invited to attend and cover this training exercise from outside of the school.  For more information, please contact Captain Paul Starks or the Public Information Office (240-773-5030) after 8:00 a.m.
