April is National 9-1-1 Education Month, and Montgomery County Police Chief J. Thomas Manger and Fire Chief Richard Bowers want to make sure that you know how to “Make the Right Call” depending upon whether you have an emergency, a public safety-related non-emergency, or need County information or services.  By knowing which number to call, you can make sure emergency services get to those who need them quicker and more efficiently.  Call 9-1-1 only when you or someone else’s life is in danger or if there is a crime or fire occurring.

National 9-1-1 Education Month is a great time to review the basics of when to call 9-1-1.  Residents are encouraged to view the following video from Chiefs Manger and Bowers and also review the following "Make the Right Call" brochures.
