  • Where:  Intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Turkey Branch Parkway

Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department, Traffic Division, will be conducting a series of pedestrian enforcement "stings" throughout the month of May.  Today, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., officers will be conducting enforcement at the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Turkey Branch Parkway in Aspen Hill.  During this enforcement, plain clothes officers dressed in bright clothing will cross the street in marked crosswalks.  Officers will stop vehicles that do not yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk, and drivers will be issued citations.  General pedestrian enforcement will also be conducted by participating officers.
