Detectives Seek Help to Identify 7-Eleven Robbery Suspects

Detectives from the Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section are investigating the robbery of the 7-Eleven store located at 11303 Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring, that occurred on Wednesday, May 15. They now have surveillance photos of the suspects to release and are asking the public for help to identify them.

The investigation revealed that on May 15 at approximately 11:45 p.m., two males entered the 7-Eleven and positioned themselves; one in the back of the store and one near the front counter. After a clerk had opened the cash register in the front of the store, a suspect pushed the employee and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. After obtaining cash, both suspects fled on foot from the store towards the Giant located in the White Oak Shopping Center.

The suspects are described as: black males between the ages of 18 and 25. One suspect is described as having a darker complexion, 5’11” tall and weighing 185 pounds. He was wearing a black tee shirt and jeans and a dark gray baseball cap. The other suspect was described as having a lighter complexion, 5’9” tall, and wearing a dark shirt and dark jeans. He had twists in his hair.
