Update: Identities Released in University Boulevard Fatal Collision

For Immediate Release: Thursday, June 6, 2013

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate a fatal collision that occurred early this morning on University Boulevard.

At this time, the driver, who succumbed to his injuries this morning, has been identified as Aaron Jerel Williams, age 26, of the 1500 block of Kanawha Street in Hyattsville, Maryland.  The passenger in the vehicle, who was transported to MedStar with serious injuries, has been identified as Jose Adolfo Alvarado Castillo, age 31, of the 1800 block of Elton Road in Adelphi, Maryland.

The circumstances surrounding this collision remain under investigation.  Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.  Callers may remain anonymous.
